The National Civil War Museum - East Facade with Susquehanna River Gap Beyond
Museums
Here is viewed the east facade of The National Civil War Museum standing as a sentinel overlooking the famous Susquehanna River Gap and head of the historically important Cumberland Valley. The surrounding grounds further offer fantastic, panoramic views of metropolitan Harrisburg. At left is the 'flat top' of Reservoir Park, the scene of reenactments, artillery demonstrations and other Civil War-related special events.
